Our most comprehensive STI screen combines blood testing for HIV, Syphilis, Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C with a full 7-infection PCR panel, plus additional throat and rectal testing for Chlamydia and Gonorrhoea. This is the ultimate sexual health check for anyone who wants complete peace of mind.

The test includes everything in our Complete STI Screen, plus Hepatitis B and C screening, and expands the PCR panel to cover seven infections: Chlamydia, Gonorrhoea, Mycoplasma genitalium, Ureaplasma, Trichomonas, Gardnerella, and Herpes Simplex. It also includes Macrolide Resistance Testing for Mycoplasma genitalium—important because standard antibiotic treatments often don't work against resistant strains.

Everything can be collected at home using our self-collection kit. No clinic visit required—just collect your samples in private and post them back to us.

Window Periods: Different infections have different window periods—the time between exposure and when the test can detect infection: If you've had very recent potential exposure, consider retesting after the appropriate window period. Urine Collection: Collect the first part of your urine stream (first-catch urine). Do not urinate for at least 1 hour before collection. Throat and Rectal Swabs: Do not eat, drink, or brush your teeth for 30 minutes before collecting your throat swab. For rectal swabs, do not use lubricants before collection. Antibiotics: If you are currently taking antibiotics or have taken them in the past 2 weeks, this may affect your PCR results. Consider testing after completing your course of antibiotics. Note: The Macrolide Resistance Test checks whether Mycoplasma genitalium is resistant to azithromycin, helping guide appropriate treatment. If You Have Symptoms: If you have symptoms such as discharge, sores, pain, or flu-like illness, we recommend visiting your GP or local sexual health clinic for a face-to-face assessment in addition to this test.

Pharyngeal (throat) infections with chlamydia and gonorrhoea are common following oral sex and are almost always asymptomatic. Throat infections can be a source of transmission to partners and won't be detected by urine testing alone.

Rectal infections with chlamydia and gonorrhoea are common following receptive anal sex. Many infections are asymptomatic. Certain strains of rectal chlamydia can cause lymphogranuloma venereum (LGV), a more serious infection requiring longer treatment.

Mycoplasma genitalium (Mgen) is an emerging sexually transmitted bacterium that can cause urethritis and other complications. Many people have no symptoms. Importantly, this test includes Macrolide Resistance Testing, which checks whether the bacteria is resistant to azithromycin—the standard first-line treatment. Resistance rates are high (around 40–50%), so knowing resistance status helps ensure you receive the right antibiotic from the start.

Ureaplasma are bacteria that can be found in the urogenital tract. While many people carry these bacteria without problems, Ureaplasma can sometimes cause urethritis and has been associated with complications during pregnancy. The clinical significance is still being studied, and treatment decisions are usually based on symptoms.

Trichomonas vaginalis is a parasitic infection that can cause discharge, discomfort, and itching. Men are often asymptomatic. Trichomoniasis can increase the risk of acquiring other STIs, including HIV. It is easily treated with antibiotics (metronidazole).

Gardnerella vaginalis is a bacterium associated with bacterial vaginosis (BV). While not technically an STI, it's included in comprehensive screening as it can cause symptoms and may increase susceptibility to other infections.

Herpes simplex virus (HSV) causes genital and oral herpes. HSV-1 traditionally causes cold sores, while HSV-2 typically causes genital herpes—though either type can affect either location. Many people have no symptoms or mild symptoms. Herpes cannot be cured but can be managed with antiviral medication. This PCR test detects HSV DNA in samples with active viral shedding.
