Modern Slavery & Human Trafficking Statement
Our commitment to combating modern slavery and human trafficking in our business and supply chains.
Introduction
This statement is made on behalf of Clinical Services Group Ltd, trading as Medi Test Direct, pursuant to Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015. It sets out the steps we have taken and continue to take to ensure that modern slavery and human trafficking are not taking place within our business or supply chains.
Medi Test Direct is a UK-based at-home health testing service, providing over 200 blood test kits directly to consumers across the United Kingdom. We are registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and operate from our registered address at 28, Maisies Way, The Village, South Normanton, Derbyshire, DE55 2DS.
We take our responsibilities under the Modern Slavery Act 2015 seriously and are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships.
Our organisation and supply chains
Medi Test Direct was established in 2025. Our business operates in the private healthcare sector, supplying at-home diagnostic blood test kits to members of the public across the UK.
We work primarily with UK-based and European suppliers who are subject to established employment law and regulatory frameworks. Where we work with international suppliers, we take steps to assess and monitor their practices.
Our policies in relation to slavery and human trafficking
We are committed to ensuring there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our supply chains or in any part of our business. Our approach is reflected in the following policies and practices:
Due diligence processes
To identify and manage the risk of modern slavery in our operations and supply chains, we take the following steps:
Reviewing and evaluating new suppliers before engagement
Requiring key suppliers to confirm compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015
Monitoring supplier relationships on an ongoing basis
Maintaining open channels for employees and suppliers to raise concerns
Reviewing our supply chain map annually to identify any higher-risk areas
We believe our highest-risk area is the supply of medical consumables, some of which may originate from countries with less robust labour protections. We actively work to source from accredited, audited suppliers wherever possible.
Risk assessment
We assess the risk of modern slavery in our supply chains as low to medium, based on the following factors:
The majority of our suppliers are UK or EU-based and subject to strict employment law
Our laboratory partners are UKAS accredited and subject to rigorous regulatory oversight
Our direct workforce is small and based entirely in the United Kingdom
We do not operate in sectors typically considered high risk such as construction, agriculture, or garment manufacturing
We will continue to refine our risk assessment as our business grows and as our supply chain evolves.
Training and awareness
We are committed to ensuring that all relevant staff are aware of the risks of modern slavery and understand their responsibilities. Our approach includes:
Providing information on modern slavery risks and how to recognise them during staff induction
Making this statement available to all staff and key stakeholders
Ensuring senior management are aware of and support our obligations under the Modern Slavery Act
Reviewing training needs annually as our workforce grows
Reporting concerns
We encourage anyone — including employees, suppliers, customers and members of the public — to report any concerns about potential modern slavery or human trafficking in our business or supply chains.
